The programs I have selected for downloading are all ones that I use. I have encountered no problems or conflicts using them on my systems using either Win95 or Win98. In fact, it is the store-bought, "shrink-wrapped" utilities that have caused me the most problems.

Don't forget to read the program, readme files. Some of applications must have their files copied into a new folder then, a shortcut to the executable file in that folder must be created

As we all know, Windows 95/98 crashes too often for our liking.  There is also the maddeningly annoying problem of running out of Windows, system resources.  The only way to replentish low system resources is to reboot.   But fortunately, there are many decent utility programs, either shrink-wrapped or, free or relatively inexpensive downloads we can utilize to somewhat tame Windows.

And so, I have decided to make some of my favorite Freeware and Shareware utility programs and, other helpful, gratis applications and files, available to site visitors.  Clicking a link in the left frame will load the program or file's description and download link in this frame.

Of course, what download page would be complete without the obligatory disclaimer!

Even though I run all the programs available here on my computers with no problems: Niether myself or the application's authors will be responsible for any damage whatsoever, incurred from using any of the programs downloadable from this site. If you accept the aforementioned, heretofore terms, you may go ahead and download as many programs as you wish.
